Hey, I'm george gaj, native new yorker, mexican/ italian. Lived both here and mexico. Managed to do two years at the school of visual arts on lexington ave. Now the first year was priceless for me because I wasn't sure what major to pick up until I sat with a close friend who suggested filmmaking considering my love and knowledge for movies and my affinity to write. However, that first year was extremely important because I managed to hone my drawing writing and painting skills up until I chose film. Although disaster struck with the second year because september eleventh happened and of course the recession, which left me working in the city and trying to get my feet on the ground independently speaking. I had to leave school for lack of funds and financial help and I've been picking up the pieces ever since. In between unemployment I began to write what I'm now calling the smile chronicles revolving around a horribly disfigured immortal character called the smile and that is yet to be completed only because there are so many episodes. Aside from that after endless hours of watching tcm I realized the kind of short film I've been wanting to make and so I'm in pre production (of course I have to save) for a short called jennifers pages. Roughly there is no script just shot lists and narration considering the short is entirely visual.
Aside all that Joe G levitt Im a hue fan and a dream of mine has been to work with you and I've followed your career in all honesty since dark shadows the revival series. I used to love catching you looking at the camera. Then of course third rock from the sun and the surprise of my life with manic, mysterious skin and so forth-not to mention the cobra commander. I have the chronicles posted and and would love to meet on here so to speak to talk over our art any day. I can't express how happy I am that you're doing this and proud for that matter.
