On the shallow end of perception, truth is something solid--definite and unchangeable.

On the other hand, truth is as malleable as the human mind. Your tragedy will never be anyone else's for they have their own version of tragedy. Your triumphs would never be fully understood by others for they too have a different understanding of what triumph is. Your truth could be entirely different from my truth yet they are both held as solid facts, at least by the one who believes it.

Therefore a single event or fact could never be pinned down as the ultimate truth for there will always be an infinite variation to how it is perceived.
