Let me tell you a story.
Once upon a time, as all stories used to start, humanity had a heart. Living, breathing, beating out a rhythm that could be heard by a collective people. Individual and yet alike. No two beats were ever the same, but they could call out like a bird in a tree and be recognized.
Until we started to drown them out. Crush their feelings. Drain the colors in the wash, and leave nothing but static ringing in the collective ears of a nation. Mass consumption. Mass media. Everything came tailor made and suctioned into plastic packaging. There was no way to break the mold the day molds became the same. And so humanities heart died. Shriveled and let its blood turn to dust in its veins. Static ringing in its ears instead of music.
