A quote i came up with after reading the Tao Te Ching. I guess you could see not wanting to dance on the dance floor as symbolic of not wanting to dance to a particular rhythm of life (a job you dislike etc) But that we can always dance to the cosmic dance because it's always there; the is-ness of existence, of nature. So in other words, because the is-ness of existence is always there we're always part of that is-ness, but it's our awareness of it that makes us more in tune with it, with the aliveness of being - and when we're too much in our heads (overwhelmed by ego) we can sometimes become flustured and unaware of the cosmic dance; disconnected, if you will, and we can end up dancing to discord.
Does that make sense?
