The Noir Pillar

Gaze in awe and wonder at the almighty...brick wall.

This was taken as part of an assignment in a digital photography class I was in. The assignment was to photograph an object bigger than a couch, but smaller than a three story building.

I saw this area on campus with these brick pillars. There was spotlights shining on them and I was attracted to the angle of the light. I didn't think the photos were going to turn out like they did.

As far as I knew I was photographing a brick pillar, with some light. But it became so much more when I looked at the photos.
