Take a deep breath and get some things out of your chest.
All the things that set up shop and have been selling you
false hopes, half-lit cigarettes and dead batteries.
Put your mouth close to my ear and let your brain unwind.
Exhale hard to express the words that just won't come.
Whisper low so the devil won't hear of his handy work.
I'll shut my eyes and listen close, close and closer still.
I'll break down and pack your mountain into my front dress pocket.
Later, we can go out back and thump each pebble over the fence.
