They fell in love, but they came from the opposite ends of the spectrum.
At night, they would sneak across the electromagnetic fields. Past the microwaves, and the infrareds. Past the X-rays. They would meet in the ultraviolets. It was very pretty there.
Sadly, they were able to meet with less and less frequency.
On their last night together, basking in fields of ultraviolets, Gamma Ray said to Radio Wave, “We can’t go on, and it breaks my photons.”
Radio Wave, replied though her tears, “I know, but it hertz. It megahertz.”
