When I was a kid, I traveled around a lot with my family, so I was on airplanes a lot as a youth. One afternoon whilst we were flying over Kuala Lumpur, I got the idea that maybe, just maybe, the planes weren't actually going anywhere. Instead, once they broke through the clouds, they flew in circles as a projection of land was played underneath to fool me, and underneath that large crews of people shifted buildings, landscapes, and machinery to simply turn the city I was leaving into the city I was headed to.
When I was a child, I thought I was the Truman Show.
The kicker? More than a decade later and I'm using those same thoughts to graduate from university.
