Everyday he wasted in his concrete box.
Waiting for the day the time would stop.
Until one day he didn’t wait and chose to get out of his own way.
He moved his legs and stood straight up and realized the roof gave way.
Free at last to stretch and sway.
But this day, the day of no waiting, was the day time stopped.
