“I can’t seem to forgive you for what you’ve done.”

“What did I do?”

“You failed to be there for me.”

“I don’t know what to say.”

“I guess you don’t need to say anything. I grew up just fine... without you.”

“I guess you did. So why did you ask me here?”

“I wanted to tell you that I didn’t need you to become the person I am today. I became a much stronger person than I would have if you had stayed around.”

“So you just wanted to tell me off.”

“I’m not telling you off. I’m telling you how I feel. I’m getting closure since I will never be able to again.”

“Is there something you want me to do?”

“You can’t do anything now.”

“You’re right. But, if I could, what would you want me to do?”

“I wouldn’t want anything from you. You made that all too easy to do when you left.”

“I’m glad my choices made you a better man.”

“Your choices had a profound impact on my life. Even though I never really met you, you still did something to me. If you had never left us, I would have never become this person you’re speaking to today.”

“You know we aren’t really speaking, right?”

“Well... Yeah, I know. If you didn’t ingest all of those pills and die in your apartment, I may have been able to do this in person. You just couldn’t seem to anything except walk out on everyone.”

“I can’t undo what I’ve done.”

“No, you can’t.”
