Writer's Block

By The New-Age Thinker

Where shall I find you?
Shall I look here?
No, I shan't... for you are not here.
Where will I look?
At the sky?
I strain my neck for you,
yet you do not appear.
What about there?
No, I did not see you...
I cannot see you?
Yes.
No.
Who are you...
What are you...
There are many here, and as I go
there are more, but none of them are you.
If only I knew what you looked like,
Then I would search for you.
All I know is that
when I find you,
I will know.
I will feel it.
And so I continue, for I did not
find you there, even though there
were many like you,
but none were you.
I shall shuffle through
the world.
To find you.
And yet you are neither there...
But I do not fear.
I will exhaust my mind,
to find you.
For it is you that I need now,
it is you that would help me
achieve this perfection.
You were not there,
you do nothing but
stop me in my tracks.
nothing but keep me from
imagining the world
with which I exist.
You have disparaged me, for I...
I have found you at last!
There, between me
and what you have done to me.
You failed in stopping me,
for now that I have you,
I shall move on.
