I think this was in the Shrine of St. Francis church in San Francisco (I don't remember the name of the church, just that it's dedicated to St. Francis & it's a shrine - meaning they have some kind of relic of the saint). It was during Lent, which is why the statuary is veiled in purple (common in Roman Catholic churches). Sadly, I'm not sure which saint the statue is of. There were a lot in that church, and I took this picture about 3 years ago or so. And I could have the church confused with another!
I played around with it a lot because the color balance was kinda crap anyway, so why not?
