And God said, finally - "I am done."
And what sweet perfection
Blossomed from divinity
(so beautiful)
To seed and grow
Beyond its own existence.
What garden of delights
Was beheld by them then
(so beautiful)
Unpresuming unreasoning
Divulging wonder.
What strange happiness
(so beautiful)
What complete incompleteness
A shadowed entirety.
What curious unfulfilment, what
Destructive impulse
Made them turn to face each other
(so beautiful)

God looked on, weeping.
