Zeus, forlorn (Of the Curse of Power)

By sara_nia

Who is he
Who wakes the silent sleeping
Of the oceans,
And casts his might rage
Upon the shore?

And how can he
With his unearthly might
Bequeath eternal sadness
To a bruised
And broken world

Who is he
Who seeks to find an end
To suffering,
But cannot voice
The sorrow in his heart?

For all who watch
With wonder in their eyes
See only fierce passion
From the skies.
They cannot see his tears for the rain.
