They were sitting alone in a library full of children's books but they were feeling everything but childish.
She began to fidget with tunes on the dusty piano in the corner of the library while he encouraged her to keep playing. She was just distracting herself. All she could think about was how close he was to her.
It was dark and the moonlight sauntered into the room with a sparkle of light on her face.
That was the day when he whispered, "I love her. I love her." to himself.
That was the day when she felt like the happiest girl in the world.
A month later, she would still remember his kisses, his warm hands and the jacket around her shoulders. But she would remember with bitterness in her heart as she would watch him enter the library with someone else, whispering the same truths that quickly became lies and broke her spirit inside.
I guess this would be a sad ending short love/lust story?
