I get that wryly wrinkled not-so sly smile when I think back to the day of phonebooks and how my parents encouraged use out of a sense of community. Now, those same people are the largest proponents of identity protection, keeping the same sort of information close, like a locket of hair around a soldiers neck. All the while, the comments of "the way it used to be" and how the younger generations need to learn a sense of connection beyond the technological disconnection.
