My Home in the Moon (Happy Gabmas!)

By Scorch

From my home in the moon

I hitch rides on meteors

And wave to astronauts in passing.

And from my home in the moon

I watch the pulse of city lights

Which mirror the stars above me.

From my home in the moon

The world seems so different

Perspective is easy with distance.

Up here on the moon

The troubles of man

Somehow lose their significance.

At my home in the moon

I gather stardust

To sprinkle on my cereal.

And from my home in the moon

I welcome you

To enjoy a life less cynical.
