The Battle of Oz

By RequiemVayne

In a world
Where houses fall and Witches
Go to die
A little girl
In plaid blue dress
Fell from a twisted sky
And to the minions of the land
She made them forge her way
So night and day
They slaved and slaved
Till their very legs gave way.
Their blood ran thick
Along the street
That led to destitution
The winding road paved in
Fleshly gold
Of those who could not make it
But the dear maiden from the sky
Continued over corpses.
And at the city walls of Green
Descended the Jaded Witch Queen
Standing on the bones of those
Who failed in courage and lacked in heart
With a sharp cakle
And maniacal grin
The great war of Oz
Did begin.
From the bowels Of hell
The witch did call her horde
And Dorthy gave all She could afford
The munchkins and monkeys left a bloody trail
And all that could be found of Toto
Was a metal mangled tail
With the battle nearly lost
Dorthy heaved and wretched
And vomited poison on the
Green Hued Witch
Her skin bubbled, and she let out a shriek
Then the sky turned dark
And no eye could see
Then the great Wizard Oz
Emerged from the city gates
And he surveyed the dark hades
The girl did desecrate
As the witch submerged into the hell below
She grabbed Dorthy's ankle
And wouldn't let go
Then Oz banished both
To the Here and Beyond
Cursed and confused
Now eternally damned
To covet their lost prize The Blood Red Shoes.
