FADE IN:

EXT. THE SKY - DAY

The hot, blazing sun bears down on a National Park.

EXT. MUD PIT - DAY

The mud almost looks more like a tar pit. Steam even rises from the mud and the puddle starts to bubble.

A brown monstrosity in the form of a hand erects itself from the mud.

EXT. HIGHWAY - DAY

A white pick-up truck speeds down the hallway.

INT. PICK UP (MOVING) - DAY

Occupying the truck are four gruff middle-aged men. All wearing similar attire; ball caps, flannel shirts, jeans, and boots.

Behind the wheel is BILLY BOB.

Riding shotgun and holding one is BILLY RAY.

In the backseat sit BOBBY JOE and BUBBA.

THE GUYS: "WOO-HOO!!!"

BOBBY JOE: "Hey yo, Billy Bob? Think you could slow down a lil'. Don't wanna to get stopped by a piggy pie."

BILLY BOB: "Yeah, okay."

Billy Bob just puts the pedal to the metal even more.

BILLY RAY & BUBBA: "WOO-HOO!!!"

BOBBY JOE: "C'mon, Billy Bob!"

BILLY BOB: "Relax, Bobby Joe. Ain't no piggies out today. They don't want to fry out in this heat."

BILLY RAY: "'Fry out in this heat.' Good one, Billy Bob. Cause pigs fry, like bacon."

BUBBA: "Someone say 'bacon'. I'm hungry."

BILLY BOB: "You always hungry, Bubba."

BOBBY JOE: "So what's so dang importin' that you gotta take us away from our air conditioned homes and away from our TV's? We missin' the race today. Thank God for Tivo! Though I forgot to hit record on that swimsuit competition. Dang!"

BILLY BOB: (caressing the truck's dashboard) "Well I've been meaning to get my baby here all dirtied up, then take the truck out muddin' with you fellas."

BILLY RAY, BOBBY JOE, & BUBBA: "WOO-HOO!"

BILLY BOB: "However, if you fellers read the papers and not the 'Dear John' letters your girlfriends left you twenty years ago. You would know that this new gov'nor of ours is making it a little bit difficult to take the truck out and mud it up. So I'm takin' you boys outta state. Someplace nice."

BILLY RAY: "Where?"

BUBBA: "Sizzler?"

BILLY BOB: "Takin' ya'll to the park."

BILLY RAY, BOBBY JOE, BUBBA: "The park?!"

BOBBY JOE: "We're gonna see 'Old Faithful'?

BILLY BOB: "'Old Faithful'? Shoot, if ya'll wanna see 'old faithful', I'll take ya to the wife!"

BOBBY JOE: "That's gross, Billy Bob."

BILLY BOB: "What? She taped a special on it and she the only one with a VCR."

BOBBY JOE: "Oh."

BILLY BOB: "Get your mind outta the gutter, Bobby Joe, and hand me a Pepsi. Beer if ya got it."

EXT. THE PARK - ENTRANCE - DAY

A sign that reads "The National Park" stands then the truck zooms past it.

THE GUYS: (O.S.) "WOO-HOO!"

The sign tips over and falls to the ground.

EXT. MUD PIT - DAY

The truck is parked outside.

INT. PICK UP (PARKED) - DAY

The guys are in awe.

BILLY BOB: "There she is, boys."

BILLY RAY: "Mud heaven."

BUBBA: "Looks like puddin'."

BOBBY JOE: "What does that sign say?"

They set their eyes on the sign.

EXT. MUD PIT

A sign hangs on the surrounding fence. It reads: "Closed: Due To Flying Hot Mud"

INT. PICK UP

All the guys lean in like they just read the sign.

BOBBY JOE: "It says 'closed'. Too bad. You did your best, Billy Bob. Better head back."

BILLY BOB: "Bobby Joe, why you actin' like somethin' I eat?!"

Bobby Joe thinks about it and gets a disgusted look on his face.

BOBBY JOE: "That's gross, Billy Bob."

BILLY BOB: "What? I thought you liked chicken?"

BOBBY JOE: "Never mind."

BUBBA: "I like chicken, Billy Bob."

BILLY BOB: "Enough of this crap! Sign or no sign! 'Clean on the inside! Mud on the outside!' Ready, boys?!"

THE GUYS: "WOO-HOO!"

BILLY BOB: "Muddin'!"

Billy Bob puts the truck in drive and steps on it.

EXT. MUD PIT

The truck nearly takes out the fence completely and out they go out on the mud. Mud's sprayed everywhere.

INT. PICK UP

The guys are having the times of their lives.

Billy Bob turns on the radio and cranks a loud, metal song.

EXT. MUD PIT

The truck does a bunch of doughnuts in the mud.

INT. PICK UP

As the truck spins, Bobby Joe catches something out the window.

OUT THE WINDOW: In the distance, it looks like several human formed figures stand outside in the mud pit and with each spin, they get closer and closer to the truck.

BOBBY JOE: "Stop the truck, Billy Bob!"

BILLY BOB: "What for?"

BOBBY JOE: "I think there's somebody out there!"

Billy Bob looks outside his window and see's nothing.

BILLY BOB: "I don't see nothin'. What about you, Billy Ray?"

BILLY RAY: "I can't see nothin' out my window. Covered in mud."

BILLY BOB: "Probably gettin' dizzy. I'll ease up on the doughnuts, then I'll stop spinning the truck. Ha-ha!"

BOBBY JOE: "Billy Bob!"

BILLY BOB: "Oh, alright."

EXT. MUD PIT

The truck stops but also gets a lot of mud in the tires, now the truck is stopped.

INT. PICK UP

BILLY BOB: "Aw shee-it!"

BILLY RAY: "What's goin' on?"

BILLY BOB: "We stuck! Go on out and see how much mud are in the tires."

BILLY RAY: "Why me?"

BILLY BOB: "Cause you're the one with the sperience.

BILLY RAY: "I am?"

BILLY BOB: "Yeah. You're the one with the shee-it in the ears."

Billy Bob laughs. It takes the others a beat to get what the joke is. Billy Ray, Bobby Joe, and Bubba start to fake laugh.

Billy Ray climbs out the truck.

BILLY RAY: "Good one, Billy Bob."

Billy Ray exits.

EXT. PICK UP

Billy Ray walks to the rear tires and sees the tires are actually fine. He does notice large inhuman footprints inches away from the tires. He leans down and studies them.

BILLY RAY: "What the?"

Some squishy sounds are heard. Billy Ray listens out.

BILLY RAY: "I don't think we're the only ones out here muddin'."

Billy Ray slowly backs away toward the passenger door.

More squishy sounds. Billy Ray looks around him and sees nothing.

He reaches for the door handle but before opening the door, a snarl is heard. Billy Ray looks up and a steaming mudball is thrown at his face. Billy Ray falls to the ground, screaming in pain.

The guys get out the car and tend to Billy Ray.

BILLY RAY: "My eyes! Hot mud! It burns!"

BOBBY JOE: "Bill Ray! What happened?!"

BILLY RAY: "Hot mud was thrown at me! I can't see! I can't see, Bubba!"

Bubba's picking his nose.

BUBBA: "What?"

BOBBY JOE: "I'm Bobby Joe, Billy Ray."

BILLY BOB: "Who threw mud at Billy Ray?!"

BOBBY JOE: "We were in the truck with you!"

BILLY BOB: "There's no one else here but us!"

BUBBA: "What 'bout them?"

Bubba, with a booger dangling from his finger, points to something. Billy Bob and Bobby Joe look.

Both squishing and snarling sounds are made.

A group of mud monsters stand before the guys.

Billy Bob and Bobby Joe scream and drop Billy Ray back in the mud as they haul ass to the truck.

Bubba looks down at Billy Ray in the mud, then back up at the guys in the truck.

BUBBA: "Hey, shouldn't we get Billy Ray?"

BILLY BOB: "Forget Billy Ray, Bubba! Get in the truck! C'mon, Bubba! I got bacon and chicken, let's go!"

Bubba for the first time, gets a wide child-like grin on his face and wastes no time getting back in the truck.

BOBBY JOE: "I'll get Billy Ray!"

BILLY BOB: "Bobby Joe! No! (to himself) Great! Traded one dingus for another dingus."

Bobby Joe picks up Billy Ray and they make it back in the truck.

INT. PICK UP

They lock the doors.

BILLY BOB: "What are those things?"

BOBBY JOE: "What do they want?"

BILLY BOB: "LOOK!"

They look out the window to see the mud monsters quickly melt to the ground. Only to quickly rise back up in form, now closer to the truck.

Mud starts to spurt out the AC/heat vents.

BILLY BOB: "That's gonna cost me! How am I gonna drive 'round without no AC?! Especially in this heat!"

The mud that's shooting out of the vents starts to form a monster in the truck. The guys are panicking. Bobby Joe and Bubba hold each other.

The mud monster is now in full form and does an "Exorcist" 360 head turn.

BOBBY JOE: "Oh God! It's doing that!"

BILLY BOB: "It's been nice knowin' you boys! I tell you what!"

BUBBA: "Where's the bacon and chicken?"

The mud monster snarls then BAM! It's head explodes. The guys look and see Billy Ray with his eyes wiped, blowing smoke from his shotgun barrel.

BILLY RAY: "One shot, one kill."

BILLY BOB: "That's right. This baby should be loaded. Check under your seats, boys!"

Bobby Joe and Bubba pull out rifles and and an automatic rifle form underneath their seat.

BILLY BOB: "Lock and load, boys! It's huntin' season!"

More mud starts to spurt out the vents. Billy Bob closes them.

BILLY BOB: "Ready?! Let's go!"

THE GUYS: "WOO-HOO!"

Billy Bob puts the truck in drive.

EXT. PICK UP (MOVING)

Bubba stands through the sunroof and fires away at the mud monsters.

Both Billy Ray and Bobby Joe take shots from the windows, respectfully.

EXT. THE PARK - ENTRANCE - DAY

The truck speeds out. Standing the sign back up as they go by.

EXT. NEIGHBORHOOD - NIGHT

The truck comes to a stop in front of a house.

BILLY RAY: (O.S.) "I was not cryin'. Ya'll a bunch of liars."

Billy Ray, Bobby Joe, and Bubba exit the truck and start to walk towards the house. Bobby Joe turns around to face Billy Bob in the driver's seat.

BOBBY JOE: "You think anyone will believe us, Billy Bob?"

BILLY BOB: "Who knows? If they don't, we'll shoot 'em. Now ya'll get your asses inside now. We'll talk about it tomorrow. I gotta get home. Get a little pickle tickle from the wife."

BOBBY JOE: "That's gross, Billy Bob."

BILLY BOB: "What? She likes to tickle me as I eat a pickle."

BOBBY JOE: "Oh. Well, g'night, Billy Bob."

Bobby Joe follows Bubba and Billy Ray into the house.

BILLY BOB: "Then I'll fuck her!"

Billy Bob burns rubber and speeds away, leaving a stunned Bobby Joe behind.

EXT. BILLY BOB'S DRIVEWAY - DAY

The mud on Billy Bob's truck is being rinsed away as Billy Bob hoses the truck down.

The mud from the truck is getting cooked by the sun on the gravel.

Billy Bob tosses the hose away and produces a beer can and takes a sip.

BILLY BOB: (to himself) "Hot damn day!"

Billy Bob walks on the mud puddle, leaving a boot print. The puddle starts to steam and bubble again.

Unaware, Billy Bob walks back to his house. He hears the same squishing sound from before and stops in his tracks. He turns around to see something large overshadowing him. Giving him shade from the sun. A loud snarl is heard.

FADE TO BLACK:

BILLY BOB: (O.S.; OVER BLACK) "Aw, shee-it."

THE END....?
