Week 23 something left behind - five line poem Leaving Home

By jestferlaffs

She took me by the hand and led me out to the front yard

I looked up to the sky and saw thousands of stars

Her hand holding mine a slight squeeze she gave

She smiled again and looked from me to the East

It's time to move out and get on with your life
