Violin Solo

These posts reminded me of an old violin solo I wrote. My best friend called me up one night to tell me her grandmother had died. I was heartbroken as she was someone I was very close to. She had been like my own grandmother. It was late and I felt like there was nothing I could do but write this piece. I wrote it in a few hours and did a tiny bit of editing the next day. This is probably the most raw thing I've ever written; pure emotion.

The recording is from a performance by a friend, John Schultz in concert.
