Yes, I am including TV shows in this. Well, one TV show, at least. Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my favorite TV show. Now, I do actually like the movie, but the show is amazing. It has inspired me in so many different ways. I have wanted to be Buffy since I started watching when I was 9 years old, and that is actually what made me interested in acting.
Now, movies. There are far too many to choose from. I love the movie Serenity-since I am a major Joss Whedon geek. I do like a lot of sci fi/fantasy stuff, and I realize that many of my favorites are not really "up there" in terms of quality, at least when compared to other films. For instance, I actually really like Resident Evil. I am also quite fond of the Evil Dead movies and Shaun of the Dead. In terms of a quality horror/zombie-esque film, The Decent is a pretty good one. Moving on, V for Vendetta s another one of my favorites, as is The Prestige, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Alien, Aliens, Terminator 2, Clue, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Velvet Goldmine, Hot Fuzz, Heathers, and too many others to list. I think my taste in movies is pretty varied, though I won't pretend like I don't mostly favor a certain genre.
Actors, well, I am going to go with the incredibly stereotypical answer and say Johnny Depp. He is incredibly talented and is most definitely a chameleon. I also do love Angelina Jolie and think that she is very talented. I also think she brings a certain presence to her roles that I find very appealing.
Let's see, Tim Curry, Sarah Michelle Gellar (well, at least as Buffy-seriously, I thought she did a great job),Emma Thompson, Ben Foster, Ellen Page, Carey Mulligan, Michael C. Hall, Nathan Fillion, Maggie Smith, uh... There are tons of great actors out there whose work I enjoy, so again, it is difficult to really list them all.
