Who really knows what they want to be when they "grow up"? Well my two older brothers knew exactly what they wanted to be before they ever graduated High School.
They had a plan.
I wasn’t as lucky. All I knew was that I wanted to be in a career that involved art.
Try telling an advisor in this town that and see what happens…
“Well, what’s your back up plan?”
Backup plan? Why would I need that?
My oldest brother gave me the best advice when it came to this question.
He basically told me don’t ever have a backup plan, because then it will be too easy for you to give up on your dreams and settle when things are too hard.
Why does everyone want to plan YOUR future?
