Melatonin: "Hormone of Darkness" (The Dark collab)

Cover Image

Melatonin is secreted from the pineal gland...production is stimulated by darkness; inhibited by light.

Melatonin helps control our "circadian rhythm"...sleep/wake cycles.

Imbalance of melatonin is believed to be the main cause of seasonal affective disorder...and other symptoms of depression.

Melatonin: produced in darkness and may cause feelings of darkness; hence the moniker, "Hormone of Darkness".
