Melancholy Baby (Fragility #9)

Document
Cover Image

Eggshell thin walls rattle with frantic breaths

You always were sturdy and tough, this I knew

But your cries and moans crawl from the depths

I wrap myself around you to gently subdue

Telling you everything will be all right

Making up stories with white unicorns

So you can sleep soundly through the night

While the mother in me quietly mourns
