Turtle Shell (A Poem A Day: 5)

Cover Image

Kiss me in a turtle shell,

where hidden is haven and

cheeks are kissed and

necks are kissed and

all is so, so well.

Rest your head on my shoulder,

chest, nose, whatever,

Kiss me now, and I can tell

you'd have my face unshaven and

stubble kiss or

bristleless or

any other bliss

would be a place to dwell,

and all is so, so well.
