Blurring Humanity (Day 5)

Cover Image

The Woman buries her son
A life forcibly ripped from her side
She is too young to be all alone

A voice screams into the face of humanity
Drawing attention to its blurring edges
Its blurring morals
Its blind guidance
Screaming to just look at the lives of the people

The Man is a ghost
Liquid fire burning his veins to oblivion
Lost to those he once walked beside

Who am I in this complicated story
The villain or the hero
The saved or the survivor
There are too many pages
My eyes remain closed

The Child is left crying
Drowning the world in its confusion
Hungry to understand this pain
