"Wow, what was that?"

"Give it a second. Let it come back."

"Who are you?"

"I am the driver."

"Driver. Like Bus Driver?"

(smirks) "Something like that."

"What is this place?"

"Just relax, give your conscience time to adjust."

"Conscience, you mean my mind?"

"Sorta."

"Wait a second, where is my body? Why can't I see my body?"

"You don't have a body here, now if you would only take a moment you will understand. It always takes a bit especially for new ones, that is why I'm hear, to answer any questions."

"Question, how is this for a question? Where the fuck is my body? I can feel my body, why can't I see it?"

"It is based off your memory, like patients from the Earth, when they lose a limb. They will sometimes keep the feeling of it, as if they could still wiggle their toes."

"The Earth." (laughs) "We aren't on "The" Earth?"

"I am afraid not."

"Where are we? Oh God am I dead?"

"Kinda, but no one ever really dies."

"Are you fucking kidding me, I have to tell you now. I am an Atheist, so if this is Heaven someone messed up the list partner."

"Heaven doesn't exist, well a version of it might but we wouldn't know."

"I knew they didn't know what they were talking about."

"Of course not, The Earth is one of the newest planets to Habitat the self awares."

"Self awares, you mean humans?"

"Yes humans."

"So everyone will come here?"

"Different sections but generally yes."

"Different sections of what exactly?"

"The universe. We are on the outer edge of your galaxy. Take a look, I remember my first time. It is magnificent."

"Wow."

"You are that speck, everything you know is less than an inch of time."

"Thanks for that..."

"It is a good thing really. Now you grow. I wasn't from The Earth but came from a planet much farther away. I couldn't even tell you the name cause our language was a bit complicated. It didn't even get past the third extinction. Not much self awares even came out of my planet before what you call a Asteroid wiped us out."

"How long is "The" Earth going to last?"

"We can't see the future, in fact when your memory starts uploading we can understand what we can from The Earth we have yet to determine."

"I am afraid it isn't going to be much to look at. I wasn't what they considered important down there."

"Doesn't matter, we have a different perspective of what is important."

"Why do you look like a human, if you come from another planet?"

"We can be anything we want to, we thought of what's best when a species comes into our place that we would look like something they can relate too."

"You look like my Guidance Counselor. When I was in High School."

"I upload from a subconscious, so that probably is who I am portraying."

"Will I see my wife again?"

"This isn't a planet, it's more like a rift. Whoever is passing by will get pulled into our, as you might say "Cloud". We don't really have control. Plus you will probably be moved into another specimen by the time she passes."

"Do you have a list, a guide like a fucking spreadsheet I can check."

"It doesn't work that way, you add the information you collect. We send it on, that is all."

"Than what's the point of this? You just move on?"

"You grow, you gain knowledge. From now on any planet you go to you will remember every life you have, after you die of course."

"How do I grow if I get sent some where and I don't even know who I am until I die? What is the point!?"

"You don't understand, your life isn't the important part. Your existence past that is what actually means something. This is where you learn."

"Don't tell me my life, my wife and children don't mean anything."

"You don't understand."

"So what are you telling me? You are as lost as we were?"

"No, we know every life that exsists."

"No you don't, you have no way of knowing until the first self aware one dies."

"That is true."

"Is this all you do? Just welcome all new species?"

"The new ones always have the most questions, but eventually you will understand. Those little thoughts and memories of what you try and hold onto, you will have to let that go."

"What was that?"

"You took your form, looks like you are in the human age of 30 years old."

"That's when I met her, I don't believe in love at first sight but beauty; That you can notice within an instant."

"It isn't that we have never saw one Consciousness travel with another, it happens a lot actually, however your relationship with her is the equivalent to being children playing on the slide after class. We have what you call love here but it rarely happens on a planet."

"How will I be able to find her?"

(hesitates)

"Tell me, I know you aren't telling me the truth."

"It's random, we don't choose who dies. If you live enough lives you will start to figure out the system. Than you will be able to look up your life and connect."

"Why didn't you tell me that before?"

"There isn't a number to give you of how many consciousness's come through this station, there are many stations in this universe. Outside this universe lies other universes that we can't even get through. I'm sorry to say but your love is not as important as what we do here."

"I am self aware, in the galaxy and the universe she is at the center of it. Excuse me if I am not ready to let it fade."

"You are making a mistake, we call them lost souls. They are cursed to jump planet to planet without realizing that we exist. Think about all those religious people, think about them believing God. What if they were right and they exist past what they know. Now what if those people were cursed with out ever knowing they are right."

"God doesn't exist, you said it yourself."

"I said we don't know but as far as we can tell, we exist because of an accident."

"Big Bang?"

"Humans aren't even close..."

"Yeah I figured."

"Believe it or not we are the good ones, bad ones are there two. We try our best to help you choose but something about this new planet."

"We all think we are good, that is what I learned about living in this new planet. But what is good? All I see is another society that falls in line with the rest of them. You know what we call this on The Earth; A God damn Experiment."

"Where are you going?"

"To find her, no matter how long it takes."

"So simple. Humans are so simple."
