Salvage me

Cover Image

A rush of tides about my head

I swim where no one dares to tread

Beneath the waves of pirates dread

Fashion of a steal bulk head

Mended teeth of iron with fins to bend.

A shield from monsters near, abroad

A mystery of science to applaud

False fierce image cloaked

Kept carefully from being soaked, in a world of endless tears.

Yet as my tale bends with rusting creak

My gaurds fall lessoned by lessons heavy, deep

I will to feel this world,

the difference between a woman,

and a girl.

Like an emperor I've lost my clothes

Embrace my follies, wiggle my toes.

And swim unbound toward curiousities more

Salvaged for an unknown shore.
