1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34. Purine to Pyrimidine. Koch's snowflake, fractals, tessellations. The universe loves patterns, and as such they are everywhere. Perhaps that is the source of the human obsession with patterns. Our very makeup is infused with them such that our search for patterns in nature is in reality a recognition of ourselves at our most fundamental level, as infinitesimal snippets in the code.
