Portrait of Ink

By Gutterflower

I drew this picture of my best friend when we were watching The Lion King. Notice the focused expression - clearly the result of watching Simba dodging stampedes in the gorge. Disney movies seem even better watching them when you're older.

All the little lines in the hair almost broke me but getting to the swirls made it worth it. Out of any other medium I love working with black ink and its such a rush knowing you cant erase it if you screw up.

Well, if you screw up you have to work it into the picture which can make things even more interesting.
