"You're not alone," she/he said (prompt #2)

Cover Image

It's 8 AM. Naomi is dreading getting out of bed

Damn early therapy sessions

She puts on her slippers and slips into the drivers seat

'Good to see you up bright and early Dr. Coleman' she says sarcastically

'Whatever, just lay down and relax'

Naomi drifts off and looses herself in the doctors' questions until she hears

A voice continues to get louder

You're not alone. You're not alone. You're not alone. You're not alone.

The cries of children get louder and louder

Until a man's voice says

You're always alone

Naomi woke up in a gasp as if someone just took their hands off her neck

As she sobbed, Dr. Colemen whispered to herself

'Well, I guess we're back to square one."
