Oh reckless abandon, like no one's watching you
I can feel the time between my fingers
Slipping, slipping through.
So I clench them closed,
Holding tighter on to you.
And I can feel the distance,
Creeping in to create its space,
Pulling, tearing, stretching
As I'm lost in your embrace.
But what if all the walls we imagine
Are simply sketches our fears drew?
And all the lines we never crossed
Disappeared from our view?
All of these limits,
What if they faded away?
Like time, like distance,
What if they could be erased?
