Selkie ( poem by Metaphorest)

Cover Image

Mythical sea creatures that can assume human form when touched by friendship..allegedly:)

The selkie sorceress reclines
Amidst the underwater vines
Shapeshifter, sunken siren sweet
Her fins come limbs, her tail false feet
Her lips a most inviting prize
To drifting, drowning, love-drunk eyes
She lures in lines of liquid lust
A predator of transient trust
A liar spying from the tide
Disguised to hide the beast inside
