I can hear the gears in my head churning, I’m surely learning.
I know for sure its no use, knowing my flaws and trying to break loose. I pause as time passes by and wait in limbo, trying to set myself straight, but space bends and I make amends for my straying paths, the false tracks I trace as I pace back and forth, turning my life in my mind. I find I can’t win and my world spins out of reach.
Some lessons you can’t teach; some truths you can’t preach.
The gears have stopped moving and the silence is deafening. I’m calm and serene as I finally see that I’ve lost myself in my own dream.
