If she could trust her ideas

By derekbullis

Another day begins to fade away
Still sleepless she hears the crickets
The chirps seem a distant ending
A crutch the night holds on to,
To make it seem real.
After awhile the dark seems to shed some light
As the dark hours fade so does its edge
Amid every dark night, breathes a morning dawn
The dawn is rising again bringing new hope, new light
Awaiting to be swept into night
