Slowly I lift from you

By oreias

A poem I also wrote back in 2003

How you decide to interpret this little poem is up to you, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on what you see, hear and feel when you read/listen to it :) Always interesting to see someone else's view on things ^^

I LIFT FROM YOU

carefully and slowly I lift from you.
The wind brings me far, far away from the place I was once born.
When I've come to a good place, I slowly swirl down, light and slow.
I take root after a few weeks.
After a year I break out in to bloom in all my glory.
Like a beautiful wildflower on a meadow, Where you now walk - I stand before you.
See me, remember me and love me, but don't pick me - for I'd die.
