By oreias

A poem I wrote back in 2003

...and as usual late at night hehe it was originally written in Swedish but when I found it today, I translated it and had grcwriter check it so it was proper english ;)

I remember I wrote this from start to end without stopping once lol

DESTINY IN A BUCKET

To find your destiny in a bucket of water and then realize that the water is frozen to ice, can be a bit tricky if you don't know how to make a fire. On the other hand, if you'd be able to make a fire there is a risk you fire it up too much, which in turn, would result in the destiny becoming steam and disappear up in the air.

What would you do with your life then, you ask? Well, you'd wait until it rains and stand there ready with your bucket in hand to catch the water drops that fall from the heavy rain cloud. Not until then, would you know what your destiny was, when it once again lay in the bucket in your arms, ready to be drunk like the water of life.
