Subsconscious spew

By Sabina

(There are two versions on the file. The second one is the "finished one")

Applying for jobs awakens the poet in me. Here is the latest offering from my subconscious.

I saw them scrambling
Momentous-like
In the corners and edges
And undusted spaces
Of being
As I wedged myself between a rock
And a crazy place
Waiting for the curtains to be drawn from
My mind's eye
And then as if nothing had happened
They clicked into place and said
"Again by heart."

And from them, I learned to love the darkness
And catch the grey sunshine in the panes
Of my rusted prescription eyeglasses
So that I had enough light to hit record
Again and again and again
